Hot Weather

Some new things have been happening to me because of the hot weather...

I wake up from my sleep with my hair all wet from my sweat. Sometimes it's spiked straight up. I also wake up sometimes crankier because I'm so hot.

I went swimming for the first time on Sunday! I LOVED it. I splashed in the water like crazy, and I liked it when my parents would swirl me around and I could see my legs swish and leave trails in the water. When I first entered the water, I made a little gasping noise because I wasn't expecting it!

Mommy bought me a fisherman hat to protect my face from the sun. It's also for Hawaii. I take it off whenever I can, unless I'm distracted. When we go outside and I have my hat on, I get so many admirers. :)

Here's a new trick the dogs have learned: when mommy asks them, "Where's Joshua?" they'll come and touch me with their noses. Dodger can do this better than Jolie.

10 Months Old

I had a little accident a couple weeks ago and got an ugly bruise on my cheek, so I didn't take any pictures for awhile. It's finally going away now, so here's my new post!

I've been a little crankier than usual, so my parents suspected that I might be teething again. Sure enough, I have two more teeth coming out on top! You can clearly see them now. I have 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. I bit mommy so hard today, she bled a little. Sorry, mommy...

I went to the beach yesterday for the first time with my parents and my dogs. I was so mesmerized by the ocean, I didn't even move, I just stared... I can't wait to go to Hawaii!

I keep chasing Jolie around the room. I want to grab her ears, her nose, her tail... anything! She gets frustrated and keeps moving away from me, but I keep crawling after her! When she actually lets me touch her, I sometimes scream because I'm so excited that I actually got to touch her.

I wave hello and goodbye to people.

When we all go out for a walk, my parents usually split up, one with the dogs and one with me. When we meet up again and I see my dogs running towards me, I get so excited I laugh and kick my legs. I only do that when I see my dogs. When I see other dogs, I just stare at them. I love Dodger and Jolie!
