New Game

I have a new favorite game - playing with my dogs' pet taxi! I love crawling towards it and opening and closing the door. Jolie plays with me, too! When I start playing with the door, she goes inside and licks my fingers through the door. When I close it, she'll nudge it open for me, and then wait while I close it again, and then she'll open it again! She's so much fun to play with.

Crawling and Talking

I am growing up so fast. I love crawling and exploring the house, and I keep mommy on her feet. I keep going towards the hall where the bathroom, closet, and garage are because I have never gone inside, and I'm so curious! My parents are always closing those doors, and I keep sitting in front of them, knocking on the doors, trying to see what's inside! My first word is "Um-ah," which means mom in Korean. Before, I used to say it all the time, and I don't think I knew what it meant, but now, I know who I'm calling for when I say it! I talk a lot now, making all kinds of sounds. Sometimes I like to sit in a corner and blabber while playing with a toy. I'm a pretty mellow baby. That's what I've been told by a lot of people. When mommy takes me out, people usually try to get me to smile, but I don't. I just stare at them, wondering who they are and what they're doing! They say I'm a serious baby. I smile and laugh the easiest with my dogs and people I know, but it's hard for others to get me to laugh. Uncle Philip described me as an "undercover spy" - I appear to be calm and almost drowsy, but I'm completely alert and always observing my surroundings. Isn't he funny?

My Favorites

My favorite thing to eat: Cheerios! I love putting them in my mouth!
My favorite thing to watch: the dogs, especially Jolie. She always makes me laugh.
My favorite book to read: Goodnight Moon. I sit still and look at the pictures while my parents read it aloud to me. I don't do that for all books. Maybe I like all the rhymes in it.
My favorite thing to do: crawl!!

I am crawling everywhere all the time. I don't sit still anymore. I started crawling about a week ago, where I moved about 3-5 steps, then bellyflopped. But a few days ago, I got better really fast, so now, I can crawl to just about wherever I want to go. That's why I haven't been posting. I have been too busy exploring! Sometimes, I even try to pull myself to a standing position! I like to crawl towards the babygate and try and touch the dogs on the other side. It's so much fun. My parents are amazed at how fast I am growing up. Here are a lot of pictures to make up for the past days:

Happy Birthday to Uncle Jae

This past weekend I went to my first birthday party. It was Uncle Jae's birthday, and I felt so loved because he made a special request for me to come! It was a lot of fun, even though I was pretty tired from hanging out with so many people. My parents had a very good time with their friends. Uncle Philip almost let me have a bit of chocolate cake when mommy wasn't watching! Of course, she stopped him. Thank you to Aunt Nami, who let mommy eat her dinner while taking care of me, and thank you to Aunt Lisa for holding me for a long time at the end of the night when mommy's arms were tired!
