Visit from Aunt Susan, Uncle Lawrence, and Aunt Lani

Yesterday we had more visitors! I saw Aunt Lani again, and Aunt Susan came with her friend, Lawrence. Mommy was saying that it's good when Aunt Lani and Aunt Susan come together because Aunt Lani plays with me the whole time while Aunt Susan plays with Dodger and Jolie the whole time, so we're all happy! Aunt Susan was one of the first people to ever see me because she came to the hospital to visit me and my parents on the day I was born. The funny thing is that she brought Dodger a present instead of me on my birthday! She loves my dogs so much. Don't worry, I'm not jealous at all, it makes me happy that someone also loves my dogs as much as I do. :)

Visit from Uncle Ernesto and Aunt Lani

Yesterday mommy saw someone she had not seen in a LONG time: Ernesto! He made me smile and laugh. I think it might have been his hair. Aunt Lani asked him to speak Portuguese to me, and he did a little. We all went to the mall together, too, which was a treat for us since it's just usually me and mommy. They were a big help. It was a fun day having surprise visitors! Aunt Lani is going to come again this Friday with Aunt Susan, so I will post again later with more pictures!

Jolie

Today I spat up a lot of my milk, and it landed all over Jolie's back! She was going crazy trying to figure out where the smell was coming from, and once she did, she was able to lick it all off. Yesterday I spat up a lot of my juice, and Jolie licked it clean off my shirt and mommy's pants. I was laughing the whole time, it felt so funny to have her licking my shirt. I got to touch her for a long time because she was so busy with eating. I pulled on her face hair and ears, but she didn't even care! I was laughing so much, we were both having a good time. I don't wake up in the night because of my nose, but I'm still sneezing a lot and mommy keeps having to suction out my nose. I hate it!

Sucking On My Toes!

When I'm being changed, I love grabbing my toes and sucking on them! It makes it easier for mommy to change my diaper because I grab my own legs back, but then I don't like letting go. I also have TWO teeth coming in, not just one. Mommy thought it was two at first, but then she thought she was wrong, but now you can see two white teeth coming out! Yesterday when I smiled, it was my first smile where you could actually see my teeth! I'm still sneezing, but feeling much better. I think I gave mommy my cold, though...

Just wanted you all to know that I'm feeling much better. I only woke up once last night, and my nose wasn't crusted over this morning as it has been the past two days. Thanks so much to all who gave me health advice and their well wishes!

Visit from Aunt Sandy and Aunt Minna

Around Thanksgiving, I had a visit from two of my parents' college friends, Sandy and Minna. I know this was a couple months ago, but I decided that since there were some fun things that happened to me before I started my blog, I should post about them and share my pictures with you. (So there might be some more pictures from 2004 later on.) And this visit was a very exciting one for me: I got my first kiss from a girl!! Aunt Sandy brought her two daughters, Abigail and Isabel. Abigail is now 2 years old, and Isabel was born only 3 days before me, on June 24 (my parents' wedding anniversary!). When daddy asked Abigail to give me a kiss, she did! It was quite exciting. Abigail and Isabel are so cute, and it was so much fun to be around other babies. Abigail talked almost the whole time she was here, and daddy fell in love with her. Maybe one day, I'll have a little sister, too...

Stuffy Nose

Last night was a hard night for me. I couldn't stay asleep because my nose was all stuffed up and runny. I was sooo tired, but I must have woken up at least 10 times in 3 hours because of my nose! My parents discovered that my crib sheets were all damp from my runny nose. :( After midnight, I woke up about 5 more times, I am so tired today from not getting a good night's sleep. So my grandparents bought me a neat vaporizer/humidifier for my nose today. I've also been drinking barley tea and apple juice and lots of water. Besides my runny nose and my voice sounding a little stuffed up, I'm the same! Mommy carries Kleenex and Vaseline with her everywhere now for my nose. My parents feel so bad for me. This is my first time getting sick (if you don't count my jaundice and acid reflux from before). Maybe I caught it from daddy? But here's hoping to getting better fast and getting a good night's sleep tonight (for all of us)!!

Visit from Uncle Vincent

Today I got a surprise visit from mommy's brother, Uncle Vincent! It was much fun. He always tries to stop by to say hello to me and my dogs. After he left, it was time for my nap, but maybe seeing Uncle Vincent got me too excited because I would not fall asleep! For 40 minutes, I lay in my crib, gurgling, laughing, squealing, blowing bubbles, and rolling around. Mommy came in once and even found me on all fours, trying to crawl towards the end of the crib! She was shocked! I am definitely not content anymore in just sitting! I finally fell asleep, but my nap was only for 40 minutes. Then, mommy and I went to the mall, where she had to run a bunch of errands. I behaved very well at the mall, even though I usually get cranky in the early evening hours. I guess I'm able to stay up for longer hours now. We were there for two whole hours, and I was awake the whole time! Mommy was so proud of me, she got a lot of things done. I'm definitely growing up!
