The Rain

It's been raining so much these days, but I love watching and hearing it when I'm in the car. The whole way home from church, I just kept looking at the water trickling down the windows. Jolie LOVES the rain. She goes outside and loves investigating in all that wetness. My parents hate it because she comes back all wet. They try to keep the door closed as much as possible, but when she has to go outside to the bathroom, she takes FOREVER!! She's even brought back a few worms!! Gross! Dodger is the exact opposite. He HATES the rain! He hates getting wet, and will not go outside unless he absolutely has to. This morning, when it was raining so hard, he even went to the bathroom inside!!! He hasn't made a mistake like that in ages! Mommy was so mad. It makes her laugh, though, that Dodger just hates the rain that much, and Jolie just loves it.
These days, what makes me laugh a lot (besides the dogs) is just sitting on my own in the crib. I don't know why it makes me so happy! Maybe because I can see everything from a different perspective now? I like pulling on the bumpers along my crib. My mommy even found me today squatting on my feet while holding onto the bumper cushions for support! I was in a crouched position, like I was pulling myself to a standing position! She was shocked. I can even hold myself upright in a standing position in my playpen once my hands are gripped on the edges. I was also trying to touch the vacuum cleaner today and I was rolling and pulling myself along the ground like crazy to try and get near it. Mommy found me red in the face and panting from all my exercise! She was laughing at me. I can't wait until I can start crawling and walking!
